While we bring a variety of specialties and experiences into our gym, we believe that customizing the approach is best when a client seeks to hire a trainer. We want to consider your limitations, preferences, experience level, and ultimately the goals or outcomes that you have in mind!
We take a fitness-oriented approach to personal training. While that may seem like the obvious approach - the fact of the matter is our workouts are planned with the intent to improve certain qualities in your body. The goal of personal training sessions are to progress you toward improvements in strength, stamina, mobility, balance, body composition, and mental health. At Iron Scholar, we believe these characteristics to encompass "fitness." With that being said, we promise you that you'll never have a sessions where one of these qualities are NOT the core focus of the session. Burning calories, getting sweaty, and getting tired are not the focus that we aim to achieve when planning sessions - they are simply a secondary outcome.
