Cancellation Policy

To request cancellation, use the request cancellation function through the GymDesk app. You can also email a request to cancel your account at contact@ironscholarmt.com

To cancel your membership, written notice must be received either through the app or through email at least 7 days before your next scheduled billing date.

If written cancellation notice is not received at least 7 days before your billing date, the upcoming membership payment will be considered valid and authorized, and the membership will remain active for the corresponding billing period. Cancellation will take effect after that billing period ends.

Example: If your membership bills on the 15th of each month, we must receive your written cancellation request no later than the 8th to prevent the payment scheduled for the 15th.

Please be aware that we require a written request!

Iron Scholar Muay Thai & Fitness will always allow exemption from the cancellation policy for military personnel with relation to the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act. Please provide valid documentation if this applies to you.

Refund Policy

Please email us at contract@ironscholarmt.com to discuss any dissatisfaction you may have with the services we offer. Your satisfaction is our top priority.

With regards to paid-in-full membership plans, Ohio Revised Code § 1345.42(B)(7) allows a prorated refund for unused months of membership when a member relocates 25 miles away from the gym. If this applies to you, please email us at contact@ironscholarmt.com any relevant documentation to validate a refund.

Also under Ohio law, buyers generally have the right to cancel a qualifying gym membership within the first three business days (Monday–Saturday) after the service becomes available and receive the applicable refund required by law.

If you participate in our one-week trial before becoming a member, the three-business-day cancellation period begins when the membership/service becomes available—not when the trial concludes. Therefore, completing the trial and then choosing to enroll does not create a new three-business-day cancellation period. The same applies for paid-in-full memberships that are renewed upon conclusion.
